The S & L Arctic K9’s Kennel is located just north of Cadillac, Michigan.
We are a recreational sled dog kennel & training site that encourages the practice and growth of sled dog activities through education, training and running sled dogs.
In addition to providing an introduction to the sport of "mushing", we mentor individuals who want to build teams of their own. Our goal is to share this unique experience, encourage participation and foster a fun, family friendly activity that teaches responsibility, dedication and commitment.
Dog Sledding tours are offered from December through March. Training and tours can be customized to meet the needs of your group. We typically offer a morning or afternoon package that range in duration from one to four hours.
Advance reservations are needed and may be made by phone. Children must be 4 years old or older and some weight restrictions apply. Packages start at $75.00 per person which include an introductory class, watching your team being hooked up and a short tour on a dog sled with an experienced musher.
